I originally released Timeless the clear album in 1982 to keep the music alive while I was living in Hollywood. As the years rolled by, it circled the globe without my knowing via word of mouth, and those with a rare vinyl were making cassettes and sharing them. In 2002, I was living like a human in Nevada working in a casino when I received a letter from a fan telling me how there was a growing interest in Zolar X’s music and Jello Biafra, from the Dead Kennedy’s, had a record label and wanted to reissue Timeless. In August, 2004, Alternative Tentacles Records reissued Timeless.

The digital download contains every track from the ATR CD. I don’t like to compare Zolar X’s music with anybody. We were and are one-of-a-kind. But if I had to, I’d say mix a little Ziggy Stardust and some Zeppelin with a pinch of Mozart. Spice it up with some Beatlesque harmonies and bake it in a hard-core Punk oven.

One of the rawest garage punk albums of all time! Dead Moon was the pinnacle of what an indie band is supposed to be, and their do-it-yourself work ethic is super admirable. Unknown Passage is probably my favorite album of theirs, although all the material they put out is great. If you've never listened to this band before, this album is the perfect place to start!
